Where it is

The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre, 100 Mt Norquay Road. It has two rinks, a curling rink and a fitness room, and it hosts the Town’s public drop-in ice sessions.

Skates and helmets are available for rent on site, so you can turn up without your own gear.

Rules and gear

Public skating is a no-book drop-in, and there is a small per-session fee at the door. Children 11 and under must wear a helmet and be directly supervised by an adult on the ice.

It is open ice, so jumps, spins, sticks and pucks are not permitted during public skating. Family skate and sticks-and-pucks sessions run separately and have their own times.
